Mystic Tarot Deck

CONTEXT
For this modern tarot deck, I created a series of vibrant and illustrative cards that blend traditional symbolism with contemporary design. Each card features bold, abstract shapes and a striking colour palette of deep blues and warm oranges, making the deck visually unique while retaining the mysticism of tarot readings.

CHALLENGE
The challenge was to reimagine the traditional tarot archetypes in a way that felt fresh and modern without losing their deeper meaning and connection to symbolism. Balancing clarity and abstraction while ensuring each card remained intuitive and easily recognizable was a key focus.

SOLUTION
By utilising geometric shapes, simplified forms, and a limited yet impactful colour palette, the deck captures a modern aesthetic while honoring tarot's timeless nature. The illustrations highlight key elements of each card's narrative, making the deck both visually engaging and meaningful for new and experienced readers alike. The result is a contemporary take on tarot that bridges tradition and modernity with a bold artistic flair.
